Shahara Bridge at Yemen is one of the deadliest bridges on the world. It looks like a dilapidated building in ruins and at first glance looks so risky to even attempt to climb it.

It is one of the most famous tourist spots of the world. This arc bridge of limestone is so famous that every year thousands of people come to visit this place. It is said that whenever people residing on top of mountains feel any danger they close and cover up this bridge in such a way that no one can make out if there was anything present here.

The village Shahara is situated on Jabal Sehara Mountain. The people residing here can keep themselves away and insular from the words for many months.

It is also called as bridge of sight. This was built in the 17th century with the main purpose of Turkish invaders to be kept out of the place.

Yemen has many bridges, which connect the villages and cities with mountains and other residential areas. The local residents used to cross this bridge daily in the past.
