Kanchendzonga National Park – It is located at an altitude of 1829 meters to 8550meters. It covers an area of 849.5 Sq KM. It is also known and as a biosphere reserve. The landscape of the park includes temperate Broadleaf and mixed forest with oak, fir, birch, maple, willow trees. On Higher altitude, there is an growth of alpine graces and shrubs and many medicinal plants.

Tsango Lake – It is also known as Change Lake. It is located towards the north side of Nathu La Pass.  It is a glacial lake. It is located at an elevation of 3780 meters above sea level. A special permit is required to visit this place. This lake is 1 KM long and 15 meters deep. 

Rumtek Monastery – It was built in the 16th Century by 9th Karmapa WangchukDorje. This monastery is considered very auspicious. It is located amidst beautiful natural surroundings. 

Khecheopalri Lake – It is located at an elevation of 1700 meters above sea level. It is considered a sacred place for Hindus and Buddhist. Its name originated from Kha-Chot-Palriwhich means heaven of Lord Padmasambhava. An interesting thing about the lake is that there are no leaves floating on the surface of the lake as the birds pick them up as soon as they fall down. 

Trekking at Mt-Kanchendzonga – It is located at an elevation of 8568 Meters above sea level. It is the world’s 3rd highest peak. It is located on the border of Sikkim and Nepal. It is a challenging and adventurous trekking spot. 

Phodong Monastery – It was founded by the 9th Karmapa in the 18th century. The monastery was rebuilt in the 20th century. It belongs to the Kagyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

Namchi – It is located at an elevation of 1350 meters above sea level. Namchi monastery, Tendong hill, Ralong Monastery are pilgrim centers. On Somdruptse Hill, there is the world’s largest statue of Guru Rinpoche, the saint of Sikkim opposite Namchi Monastery. The statue is 118 feet tall.

Himalayan Zoological Park – It lies at a short distance of 50 KM from Sikkim. It is also known as Darjeeling Zoo. It covers an area of 67.56 Acers and is located at an altitude of 7000 meters above sea level. 

Nathula Pass - It is located at an elevation of 4310 meters above sea level. It is a part of the old silk route. The government of India controls the flow of tourist here because of shallow soil and landslides. It is known as Hikers Haven. 

Pemayangtse Monastery – It was founded in 1705 by Lama LatsunChempo. It is known as one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. It was built for pure monks which means monks of pure Tibetan lineage celibate and with no physical abnormity.
