City Palace – It was built in the 15th century. It is located on Pichola Lake. This beautiful palace is inspired by European medieval and Chinese style of architecture. It houses 11 beautiful palaces. The size of the palace is majestic with beautiful courtyards, terraces, hanging gardens and intricate, stone and glasswork.


Pichola Lake – It is a beautiful man made wonder. It was created in the 13th century. This lake was extended by Rana Udai Singh II in 16th century. It is set up in the most scenic surroundings with a backdrop of Aravali hills, Palaces, and temples. Boating in the royal boat and speedboats is a major attraction here. It offers lovely view of the town especially in the evenings.

Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) – The palace is set on the top of a hill. The views of the city are breath taking from the top. It is also famous as a sunset point. It was constructed in the 18th century and the main purpose of construction was to build an observatory to predict monsoon arrival but after his death, the work was not completed.

Kumbhalgarh Fort – It was constructed by Maharana Khumba in 15th century. The most famous fact being that it is the birthplace of the famous Maharana Pratap. This fort was considered invincible and is the highest and the strongest fort of Rajasthan. It is protected by 13 Aravali hills and a 15 KM long thick wall. It stands 1180-meter high ridge.

Fateh Sagar –It is a beautiful artificial lake in North West Udaipur. It was built by Maharani Jai Singh and later extended by Maharana Fateh Singh. This Lake’s original beauty is seen at the time of Monsoon.

Gulab Bagh – It is a perfect spot for nature lovers. It is located at the center of the city. The main attractions of Gulab Bagh are zoo and mini train.

Dudh Talai – It is situated near Pichola Lake and offers a beautiful lakeside view. One can enjoy boating and camel ride over here. There is also a ropeway to visit Karni Mata temple nearby on a hilltop.

Jagmandir –It is built on an island on Lake Pichola. It is also called lake garden palace. It was completed in 1652. It was used by the royal family as a summer resort.

Lake Palace – It is situated right in the middle of lake pichola over an island. It is completely built of white marble. It is now a luxury 5 star hotel under Taj group of Hotel.

Sukhadia Circle – It is a large round circle in the north part of the city. The Square has a small pond in the center, which has a 21 ft 3 story fountain. This fountain is made of white marble and is carved by wheatear motif, which is a symbol of prosperity.
