Montenegro in the Balkan

Luxury Resort to be built in the place where Italian soldiers took refuge during the Second World War

Italian soldiers took refuge in Montenegro in the Balkan country. It said also said that about 2300 people were held captive here between the sea. A film named Mamula Camp was made after being inspired from this place in 1950. Now a luxury resort is being built in this place in 110 crore rupees. It would include Yachts, swimming pool, dance floors, and restaurants. The company in charge of the build has made it clear that they will not disturb the main structure of the building as it has historical importance.

There are some issues regarding the new development on the island. Some people have expressed their views that how can a resort be made in a place where people were kept in captivity and tortured. However, the government feels that this will help in economic development.
