Corbett National Park Uttrakhand – It is one of the oldest and best-known national parks on India. It is named after famous wildlife storywriter, Jim Corbett. It was formed in 1936 to save Bengal Tigers. It is located in foot of Himalayas at uttrakahnd.

Kaziranga National Park Assam – One horned rhino is only found here in India. It is situated in golghat in Assam. It has the largest wildlife sanctuary in India. It is one of the most visited parks. It was declared a tiger reserve forest in 2006. It has many migratory birds and various animals like deers, wild buffalo, elephants etc. 

Bandipur National Park Karnataka – It is a famous park in south India. It is the natural habitat of Elephants and many rare species. Dense vegetation of Deccan plateau and flora and fauna of Western Ghats makes it a beautiful breathtaking destination. It is around 80 kms from Mysore.

Bandhavgarh National Park Madhya Pradesh – It is located in Umaria in Madhya Pradesh. It was given the status of national park in 1968. The population of tigers is in good numbers in the park. White tigers are the famous sight here.

Kanha National Park Madhya Pradesh – It was established in 1955. It has the rare species of almost extinct swamp deer called barahsingha in many great numbers. The whole of park panoramic view can be seen from Bamni Dadar or sunset point and is a famous attraction. 

Gir National Park Gujarat – The Asiatic lion is only found in Gir and Sasan Gir Wildlife Sanctuaries of India. The park was established in 1965. Many rivers and streams flow through the park. October to June is the best time to visit the park.

Keoladev Ghana National Park Rajasthan – It is one of the best man made sanctuaries in India. It is famous for its migratory birds and is a home to several rare species of birds. This park is located in Bharatpur Rajasthan and is famous for its zoological studies and bird watching. 

Periyar National Park Kerala – The periyar national park is famous for its greenery and beauty of its surroundings. It is the only park to have an artificial lake flowing in it. The Western Ghats give the forest a lush environment and is a tiger reserve of India.

Pench National Park Madhya Pradesh – The famous Rudyard Kipling book Jungle book was based on this national park. It is also called as Mowgli land. Tigers, leopards, wild dogs, and barking deers are in large numbers in the park. It has also many species of birds and is ideal for bird watching.



Ranthambore National Park Rajasthan - It is also known as Royal national park of India. It is famous worldwide. It is surrounded by Chambal and Banas River. It is also a tiger reserve. Besides tigers leopards, deers, nilgai, wild boar, Sambhar, Hyena, and many other animals are found in the park. Tiger safaris are extremely popular in here and are famous worldwide.
