Glen Brittle, Scotland – This is a picture postcard perfect place where beautiful purple flowers adorn the high mountains fully. This is a wonderful canvas for painters and artists in summers. However, in rains it is challenging to roam here.





Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park, Gansu, China – The colorful mountains and hills form a different world out here. It is said that these hills and mountains were formed in 24 million years. They are rich in various minerals. The breathtaking beauty of red, blue, green, and other colors of mountains can be seen here. In addition, these are in many shapes and sizes of birds, humans and other interesting forms.




Petra, Jordan – This is one of the wonders of the world. The Petra city has been carved out of mountains. A Swiss traveler found it in 1812. This place is specially known for ancient statutes made out of stone. The buildings here are intricately carved and designed and are made of Labuan stones. The city has 132 temples, water bodies, stadiums, and lakes. It has Dead Sea on its west side and Red Sea on its south side. It was formed in 6th century BC. 





Wisteria Flower Tunnel in Japan – Many Americans along with Japanese throngs this wonderful place. Kakawachi Fuji Garden of Kit kayo city is a botanical garden, which is made from 150 varieties of wisteria flowers in a tunnel. It is around 6 hour’s trip from Tokyo. The best time to visit here is April and May. The specialty of this garden is that it is free for everyone to visit.



Merry Cemetery of Sapanta – This is a place where people get in touch with many shades and aspects of their life and inner self. Local people here have a mindset that a new life starts after death. Therefore, they create a beautiful emotionally intricately designed gravestone on the graves of their loved ones. These colorful stoned graves signify that people are celebrating life after death. It was started in 1930.




Antrim, Northern Ireland – This is the biggest bridge in North Ireland. This was formed after a volcano eruption many years back. Around 40,000 stones, which are formed in a column, are remains of an extinct volcano. One has to go through these stones for seeing this beautiful structure. 




Fly Geyser – This is an amazing man made geyser. This was made in 1916 and was left at its accord. This transformed itself into a 10 to 12 feet long calcium cone. Natural hot water fountains can be viewed at this beautiful place. The backdrop around this place resembles of an alien planet. Earlier there were many colorful fishes and cranes in the swimming pools here, which are seen very less nowadays.




Deadvlei – This out of the world place looks like a graveyard of dead trees. It has a different charm to it. Situated in Namib Naukluft Park of Namibia this place is surrounded by high sand hills out of which one is called Atlas Obscura. Atlas stands at a whopping height of 1312 feet. Many years back there was a river flowing here, which dried up due to weather, and topographic changes and thus all trees dried up. Now only the ruins and fossils of the trees remain. However, some trees are still growing and this places tells the story of climate change of past. 




The Wave, Arizona – These are actually big rocks situate on a high altitude of 5225 feet. These are situated in Colorado. These look like waves of water from a distance comprising of many colors and attract the tourists. It feels like one is in the midst of sea here. According to paleontologists, Dinosaurs used to live here millions of years back.  





Tunnel of Love Ukraine – Ukraine boasts of many years old Tramway which is a part of three km line made for a fiberboard factory. The dense foliage of trees and creepers on both sides of this tramway has formed into a beautiful natural tunnel. Its amazing beauty has termed it as tunnel of love. Some people also believe that if one asks for a wish here with a pure heart then it is granted. The prime focus of this place is the color change of natural tunnel three times a year. This foliage tunnel becomes lush green in spring, brown in summers and changes to white with snow in winters.
