Dehradun – It is the capital of Uttrakhand. River Ganga and River Yamuna surround it on two sides. Some leading attractions are – Sahastradhara, Robber’s cave, Tiger Falls, Deer Park, mindrolling monastery etc. 

Nainital – This lovely hill station is a must visit. The name Nanital is from the lake resembling the Naini Goddess eye. It is located at 1938 meters above sea level. Some attractions are – Naina Peak, Himalayan viewpoint, Land’s end, Tiffin top, Snow view, Thandi Sarak etc. 

Mussoorie – It is a lovely hill station located at an altitude of 6000 meters. It is also known as queen of hills. The snow covered Himalayan peaks are a heavenly site here. The summers are pleasant here. It s also the home of famous writer Ruskin Bond. Some lovely sites are – Camel’s back road, The Mall road, Sir George’s Everest house, Kempty falls, Lal Tibba, Cloud’s end, Gun hill, Christ church, etc.
