Largest Church in Reykjavík city of Iceland and the sixth tallest architectural structure in Iceland

This church of Reykjavík city of Iceland is 29 years old. This is 79 meters long. Gujohn Samuelsson an architect of Iceland has made the design of this church. It took 41 years to be built. It was built between 1945 and 1986.This church is the biggest church of Iceland at present and sixth tallest architecture too.

The main tower of Church is important. It was modified in the year 2008.This is also an observing point especially for the city and hills nearby. Lef Erickson’s statue is built in between its open area. Lef Erickson was the founder of Iceland. America had gifted this statue in 1930.
